|Teaching Assistant Program|
Our best youth program focuses on youth development, skiing and riding skills and future teaching opportunities.
Overview Year 1
Our Teaching Assistant Course is the perfect way for skiers and riders to prepare to become certified instructors. The course is designed to help participants to improve technically while developing solid communication and interpersonal skills. After completing the course, participants will perform 10 probationary hours to assess their competency and commitment. Participants will teach closely with certified instructors, assisting with actual classes. Here they will develop an eye for assessing and developing students while building a "teaching toolbox." Participants also partake in weekly on-snow sessions with certified trainers to further their skills.
