Parent and Tot
For many parents, their dream is to be able to share the magic of skiing with their children. Many parents look to professional instructors to teach their child, while others try to teach their child themselves. Our program offers the best of both worlds. With the guidance of a professional ski instructor, Tots can learn from their favourite teacher- you. Mount Pakenham’s Pros will guide you in the best way to help your child learn to ski, how to ride the lifts and make it an enjoyable experience for everyone.
There is something very rewarding about teaching your own child to ski. The pride you feel when your child makes his or her first turns and the bond that you will form by sharing moments on the slopes for many years to come.
This program is designed to help the parent ski with their entry level tot. One parent must accompany each tot and must be an experienced skier (blue level terrain) as they will be assisting their child throughout the 5 week program. Equipment is required .

60 minutes of group instruction for 5 weeks-lift tickets included - Available: Tuesdays skiing 1:30-2:30pm or Saturdays skiing 9:30-10:30am
- Equipment: Bring your own or rent ours
- Fine Print: Ski School rates are for instruction only! . Please add 13% HST to snow school rates. Advance reservations are required and can be made by calling Mount Pakenham at 613-624-5290 with your Visa or Mastercard.
Bookings made less than 7 days before program start date will be subject to a $25 late booking fee.
Full refunds, less $25 administration charge, are issued only if cancellation notice is received more than 14 days prior to the start date. Cancellations within 14 days will be assigned an alternate date or credit, less $25 administration charge, at the discretion of Mount Pakenham.

The Breakaway is a perfect weekday afternoon program lasting 5 weeks beginning January 22, 2013.

Our development program is the perfect way for skiers and riders to improve technically while developing solid communication and interpersonal skills. This is the first step in becoming an instructor. We also have adult teaching assistant opportunities available. Call for details.
