Only a short drive from Ottawa, Mount Pakenham offers private and group lessons in skiing and snowboarding. There is still space left in our 5 week program that begins on February 4th or 5th.
Friday, open 10am-10pm. Conditions are really good with fresh snow flurries and the entire mountain regroomed after Friday morning’s mix of weather . Our snow base is machine-groomed granular/powder snow and is approximately 70 cm deep. Terrain Parks open Friday night and all weekend. We have features set up on 3 runs - rails, boxes, jumps and pipes - 15 features now in place and our terrain park staff are working on more.
Tubing is open every Saturday and Sunday 11am to 5pm weather permitting (call ahead if we have active weather happening). Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are closed Friday and will be regroomed for Saturday.. Regular hours for skiing and snowboarding are Tuesday to Saturday 9am-10pm and Sunday-Monday 9am-5pm . Tuesdays we have 2 for 1 lifts all day and evening. Saturday night is 2 for 1 lifts and rentals after 4:30pm. Tubing open 11am- 5pm every Saturday and Sunday weather permitting (call ahead if we have active weather happening). Snowshoeing and X-country trails are now open and groomed.
